Your picture doesn't feature you grabbing at your face like those other two! It makes them look like writers! Not really, anyway, your picture is hot, those other two look like they are from New York. Or Lithuania, whatever.

Oh yeah, I like your photo choice way much better than your co-residents'. I never once glanced at your picture and thought you had your finger up your nose. Or you had your hand up to cover a blemish. Or thought "gee, Photoshop made this possible." So, how did the workshop part go?

"Yeh, like, from your picture, I can solidly tell that you were the best writer there! Like." (Sorry; nicotine withdrawal er somethin'.)

Your topic looks like a good one; I wish I could be there. I just finished Evan Thomas's Sea of Thunder, a book about the great sea battles between Japan and the US during WWII. He says a lot about the cultural differences that formed much of the strategies and behaviors of the opposing commanders. Good stuff. Congratulations on the workshop!

I was merely looking up the lyrics to Octapus's Garden and found your site by ... accident isn't precise, but close enough.

"Clotted knotwork" is just great. I love that kind of visual audial origami.

Best,
